Exciting News

The Vocational Training Centre is complete!

With grateful thanks to our generous donors from many different countries, big and small who have contributed to this remarkable achievement.

The building was opened formally by The District Commissioner and the local MP.

The vocational centre will become the home of our THREADS Sewing School which is now five years old and helps disadvantaged young people from the area, most have not completed their schooling, to learn a skill, gain confidence and self esteem and return to their villages able to use their skills to support themselves and their families.

We plan to offer other young people the opportunity to learn carpentry, (we are a timber producing area), mechanics and administrative skills.

A big day! congratulations
